Just one more week to go!

ENGLISH:

It's crazy to think that in less than a week I'll be moving to London. Almost everything is ready to go. I just have to buy a few necessities throughout the week and I still have to decide which chlothes to bring with me - and let't face it, that's probably the hardest thing to do for a girl ;).

To make the most of my time left here in Germany, my family and I spent the past four days exploring Munich. It was a lot of fun and we had a lot of luck with the weather. Thursday, we spent the day exploring the city and stayed in the "English Garden" for quite some time. It's a gigantic parc in the heart of Munich with lots of so called "Biergärten".

On Friday we went to the "Bavaria Filmstudios". It's one of the biggest production areas for movies in Europe and a lot of well-known ovies have been recorded there. It was an incredible experience to see all the sets and prodution areas up close. During our stay we also visited the "Deutsche Museum", the olympic village of 1972 and a lot of other tourist attractions in the city. And a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do - we went shopping as well! There's no Forever 21 in Frankfurt or in the area around us that after two years of not visiting on there stores, we needed to stop there no matter what! ;)

Found this on one of the briges in the English Garden. Isn't it crazy! It reminded me of how much I miss Savannah and all my friends and family there!

 

A bit of Munich architecture

 Deutsch:

Es ist verrückt zu denken, dass ich schon in einer Woche nach London ziehe. Eigentlich it fast alles fertig und bereit zum Abflug. Ich muss nur noch ein paar wenige Kleinigkeiten einkaufen und leider auch noch meine Klamotten raus suchen. Dies ist noch ein relativ großes Rätsel, wie ich Klamotten für ein Jahr London auf 23kg beschränken soll, aber auch das werde ich noch meistern.

Um meine Zeit in Deutschland noch einmal ausgiebig zu nutzen, sind meine Familie und ich die letzten vier Tage spontan nochmal nach München gefahren. Wir wollten es zwar schon seit einigen Jahren machen, allerdings hat es bis jetzt nie wirklich geklappt. Die Stadt ist wunder schön und wir hatten unglaubliches Glück mit dem Wetter. Donnerstag sind wir direkt nach der Ankunft in die Stadt rein gefahren und haben die meiste Zeit im Englischen Garten verbracht. Dies ist ein riesiger Garten in der Mitte Münches mit einigen Biergärten.

Außerdem haben wir noch die Bavaria Filstudios besucht, welche eine der größten Filstudios Europas sind. Es war super spannend einmalig einige der berühmten Filmsets live zu sehen und ein paar Anekdoten von verschiedenen Drehs und Schauspielern zu hören.

Natürlich waren wir auch im Deutschen Museum und sind auch einmal durch den Olympia Park gelaufen. Es war eine super schöne Zeit!
